Watch the video above to discover the one skill that Warren Buffett guarantees will net you 50% more money over your lifetime, why most people are bad at it, and what you can do to truly master it ...
Billionaire Investor Warren Buffett Guarantees “You’ll Earn 50% More Money Over Your Lifetime” By Developing This One Skill
… and why do most people approach it completely backward!
According to Warren Buffett, the greatest investor of the 20th century (and the world’s third richest person), there is one skill that will boost your lifetime earnings by a whopping 50%!
You’re probably familiar with his extraordinary business achievements, his passion for giving back, and his famously unassuming nature ...
But listen to Buffett talk about a lesser-known experience that truly shaped his life:
------------------
[Transcript from Warren Buffett Interview with This Week Exclusive]
Interviewer: “Tell me, you said you took a class at Dale Carnegie, and it changed your life. Where was that?”
Buffett: “Yeah, well I was totally terrified of public speaking. I couldn’t do it … I would throw up. So, I arranged my classes in high school and college so I didn’t have to do it.
And then, when I was at Columbia, I saw an ad in the paper … so I went down to Midtown, New York and gave them a check for $100 to sign up for the Dale Carnegie course. Then I went back and stopped payment on the check!
And later, when I came out here [Omaha, Nebraska] to start selling securities, I knew I had to do it. So, I saw another ad, and I went down right near here and handed the guy $100 cash, and I took the course.
I tell them [business students], ‘Look, you learn all this complicated stuff as an MBA, but if you improve your communication skills I guarantee you’ll earn 50% more money over your lifetime!’
I know that it’s kind of beneath the business school to teach you about speaking better and writing better, but that is what counts!
It isn’t knowing some elaborate formula about options or something …
And so I tell every one of them, ‘Unless you think you’re really good at this now, go out and improve your speaking and communication skills!’”
------------------
Did you catch that? He said, "If you improve your communication skills, I guarantee you'll earn 50% more money over your lifetime!”
Warren Buffett is always urges people to develop their public speaking skills, and is quick to point out how much he personally owes to his willingness to do so.
And it’s not just lip service … if you go to his office in Omaha, you won’t find his degrees from Columbia or Nebraska, but you will find his Dale Carnegie certificate hanging proudly on the wall.
Buffett describes the ability to communicate effectively as an asset that will pay dividends for your entire life …
But warns that, “If you can’t communicate and talk to other people -- and get across your ideas -- you’re giving up your potential!”
And while that statement is extremely powerful, you may be thinking …
“So what? That’s not news to me.”
Because, of course, you already know that effective communication is an essential life skill.
It’s an idea that gets drilled into our heads as soon as we reach grade school …
And it’s a point of emphasis at just about every business in existence -- from ma-and-pa shops to multinational corporations.
But why, then, are so many people still so bad at it?
And why, with all this awareness, is poor communication forever lamented as a major problem faced by companies big and small?
Well, after years of research, here’s what we realized …
The problem is mostly due to the way it’s taught.
You see, we’re constantly taught how to communicate ...
How to grab attention; How to create engagement; How to tell a story; How to format a slide deck.
We’re given basic formulas and simple templates … almost like speaking effectively is as easy as playing a game of Mad Libs.
But never in our lives do we learn about the why ...
Why is grabbing people’s attention so difficult? Why do people always start out as disengaged? Why do stories spark such deep connections? Why do people forget most of what you tell them?
And therein lies the problem -- because understanding the why is what truly empowers you to take ownership of a skill!
It’s what gives you the ability to treat “how-to” strategies like a great craftsman treats his tools …
Not as single-purpose items, but as a versatile group of instruments to be used interchangeably depending upon the unique requirements of each situation.
Why is what turns useless facts into valuable knowledge; lends depth and purpose to your actions; and paves the way to true mastery!
We like to think of it in Hollywood terms …
If they were movie stars, why would be Philip Seymour Hoffman …
[Replay in your mind any one of the many deep and brilliantly nuanced performances delivered by Hoffman over many decades, across many platforms]
And how would be Nicolas Cage ...
[Recall any one of the countless number of predictably wacky and uninspired cinematic efforts attributed to Cage]
Okay, so maybe that’s not the best analogy … but just watch Ghost Rider 2 and it’ll make more sense.
Anyway, the point is this …
How tends to be narrow, static, temporary …
It explains what worked in the past, under precise circumstances, at a single point in time.
Why, on the other hand, is deep, insightful, fundamental …
It helps us predict what will work in the future, in the face of an ever-changing landscape.
Why transcends the lazy act of just copying what was done before, and instead offers the freedom to form a uniquely personal style that can be adapted and modified as necessary.
Perhaps the great American thinker Ralph Waldo Emerson summed it up best when he said: “The person who knows how will always have a job. The person who knows why will always be his boss.”
And, for that reason, it’s our mandate at LME Global to always tackle the why before we ever dare touch on the how ...
Because we know this approach is what produces lasting results!
Now, to be fair, when it comes to communication, the underlying why that makes it work has -- until recently -- been mostly beyond our grasp.
However, with modern technology, we now have the profound ability to study the human brain in ways that were completely unthinkable just a few years ago …
Which means we can finally understand the driving forces that make communication work at the most basic level (and we can see why most people are approaching it the wrong way).
So, let me ask you a question …
How would you like to learn about the why that powers effective communication -- so you could harness the full potential of this vital skill in your business or career?
Well, we recently ran a fascinating masterclass for our inner-circle called “The Neuroscience of Presenting” led by Dr. Jared Cooney Horvath.
Dr. Horvath is one of the world’s leading experts in the field of cognitive neuroscience …
And if that just made your eyes glaze over, that simply means he has specialized knowledge about how people think, learn and process information.
Basically, Dr. Horvath knows the human brain like Kim Kardashian knows self-promotion :)
And during this immersive 2-hour course, he dove into the latest research surrounding the brain and explained in captivating detail how it must shape our approach to communication.
He discussed the best strategies for commanding attention, generating interest, building trust and authority, exerting influence, making connections and driving action!
But instead of just focusing on the HOW, he “popped the hood” of the human mind and dove into the WHY that transforms boring interaction into powerful communication!
Here’s what people had to say after going through “The Neuroscience of Presenting” …
Sergio Brodsky (Head of Strategy at Initiative Global Media in Melbourne, Australia) said it was “Important for marketing, branding, sales, training, culture, change management -- just about any aspect of business you can think of.”
Matt Walsh (Managing Partner of Blue Signal Recruiting in Tempe, Arizona) described it as “Insightful and chock-full of interesting and useful strategies” ... and added, “If you’re serious about being successful, you absolutely need to go through this!”
And Evan Porto (Director of Strategy at Dignity Health in Los Angeles, California) said that “When Dr. Horvath explains these ideas they make perfect sense! They seem so obvious, and yet I've never learned them before.”
So, why do I tell you this?
Because for this week only we’re making “The Neuroscience of Presenting” replay available to everyone at a 50% discount!
After this week, the replay will be available on our website for $397 …

If you type the term "Presentation Skills" into Google and click search, your eyes will quickly be inundated with a million different templates, scripts and top-10 style lists …
Almost like learning how to communicate effectively is as easy as putting together a chair from Ikea.
Google loves this type of content because people are always happy to consume simple “how-to” formulas ...
It’s enticing to think that if you just follow the same 1-2-3 recipe as someone else, you’ll experience the same results.
The problem is, this approach rarely works!
Simple formulas are a false god in the complex and dynamic world of human interaction.
Sure, “how to” models work great for things like boiling an egg or tying a tie -- because how to boil an egg never changes, and ties are the same everywhere.
But when it comes to communication, things are not so simple. There’s no single recipe for delivering a compelling presentation … no “pre-cooked meals”.
In fact, any attempt to apply a simple formula is almost sure to backfire -- audiences can see through such a lazy tactic and are prone to feel manipulated by it.
And even if there was a successful formula at one moment in time, it wouldn’t stay successful for long -- because one of the qualities of an appealing presentation is its originality and freshness.
We’re human. We don’t like (or respond to) the “same old”.
But why?
Why are we so fickle? Why are we so skeptical? Why do people always need a fresh supply of new stimuli to stay engaged? Why is the human attention span shorter than Lindsay Lohan's film career?
Well, knowing the answers to these types of fundamental questions is what separates great communicators from mere imitators.
In fact, understanding what we call "the why" is the key to mastering any type of dynamic skill that requires judgement and mental flexibility …
Knowing the why is what helps you turn useless how-to information into valuable knowledge; lends depth and purpose to your actions; and paves the way to true mastery!
It allows you to transcend the lazy act of just copying other people, and instead offers you the power to craft a uniquely personal style that can be adapted and modified as necessary …
In short, understanding the why is what actually gives you the freedom to be yourself!
And, for that reason, it’s our mandate at LME Global to always tackle the why before we ever dare touch on the how …
Because we know this approach is what produces meaningful results!
Now, to be fair, understanding the why that makes communication work has -- for most of history -- been largely beyond our grasp.
However, with recent advances in brain imaging technology and neuroscientific research tools …
We now have the ability to examine the incredible forces that power human interaction in ways that were completely unthinkable just a few years ago!
And, during our recent "Neuroscience of Presenting” masterclass, renowned expert Dr. Jared Cooney Horvath did just that!
He dove into the latest research surrounding the brain, and explained in fascinating detail how it must shape our approach to communication.
Dr. Horvath broke down the science behind creating, delivering and driving-home a powerful presentation …
And more importantly, he dissected the why that transforms boring interaction into effective communication!
This valuable masterclass was delivered live to our inner-circle members by invite only ...
But right now we’re making the replay available to everyone.
We invite you to grab it now … so you can finally take-ownership of this uniquely essential business (and life) skill!

The importance of developing strong communication skills cannot be overstated. Nothing happens without it! Communication is the force that gives life to your passions, power to your ideas and purpose to your knowledge. It's the catalyst that turns mere potential into tangible success.
Strong communication is a true "amplifier" skill that serves you in just about every aspect of business (and life). It sharpens you, builds confidence and power, accelerates your results and provides a unique sense of security. It may be the best “success skill” there is.
Plus, it's a timeless skill that can never be taken away from you. Most skills can (and will) eventually be rendered valueless. But strong communication will always be in demand, and will always give you a major advantage over your competition.
Unfortunately, a lot of people choose to discount the importance of strong communication. But the truth is, if you can’t connect with people and communicate your excitement and ideas, you’re giving up your potential.
And this is why the most successful people in every walk of life have always shown a willingness to focus on and develop this transcendent skill.
This course is not for everybody ... only serious business professionals who understand the immense power and personal freedom that strong communication can provide; who appreciate that the best way to take ownership of this life-changing skill is to truly understand the WHY that drives it; and who are willing to commit themselves to actually applying what they learn.
As the great American thinker Ralph Waldo Emerson said, "The man who knows HOW will always have a job; the man who knows WHY will always be his boss" ... and with Dr. Horvath, you have a rare opportunity to peak under the hood of the human mind and discover the WHY that drives communication.
Whether your opportunity is with 5 people in your office, 50 people in a hotel meeting room, or 500 people on a webinar -- or if you can profit by starting a podcast, posting videos online, or even sending a out sales DVDs (yeah, those still work) -- rest assured that you can squeeze a lot more out of any such opportunity if you truly understand what makes communication work.
Also, a lot of so-called “experts” will charge you an arm-and-a-leg just to park you in a conference room and walk you through a cookie-cutter presentation template … and to be honest, if you want a pre-cooked, off-the-shelf template or two, save your time and money -- Dr. Horvath is not your guy. He’s not in the business of manufacturing robots, all using the same "Mad Libs" worksheets with the blanks filled in.
Communication is a serious art and science best learned and applied on a customized and personal basis -- and Dr. Horvath will make sure you "take full ownership" of his material so you can actually leverage it across a variety of ever-changing situations.
So, if you’re looking for someone to just “hand you a fish”, you’re probably better off going elsewhere. But, if you’re interested in learning how to fish -- if you truly want to develop a mastery of this powerful, income-boosting skill -- then you absolutely don’t want to miss this chance to go through "The Neuroscience of Presenting"!
Ideas are the currency of the 21st century.
There’s nothing more inspiring than a bold idea delivered by a great speaker. Ideas, effectively packaged and delivered, can change the fate of your business or career.
If you consider many of the brands and business leaders who’ve successfully captured the spirit of the market in recent years, it’s clear that presenting a good idea in a compelling manner is a fast track to success.
A presentation can give you the biggest, fastest, and most reliable return on investment by getting your unique and personal message permanently embedded into the hearts and minds of of your precisely targeted audience.
Presentations offer the most efficient way to sort through prospects, close new customers and grow a business. Plus, they're proven to build rapport, create trust and establish authority.
Group presentations are fueling top performers in virtually every industry from from direct selling, network marketing, consulting, software, info products, local businesses, etc.
And if you're not leveraging this powerful marketing tool in your business or career, you're missing out on a massive opportunity.
Local business owners often ask us if the material in this course is valuable for them?
Because, sure, many of the world's biggest companies (including Disney, Harley Davidson and Home Depot ... just to name a few) are using group presentations every day to reach new audiences, open-up new markets and boost profits.
And this skill is heavily leveraged in the most "sophisticated” environments as well: IPO’s are assembled in Wall Street skyscrapers by pitchmen making presentations to underwriters and investment firms; ad agencies secure accounts with boardroom presentations; and entrepreneurs gain new funding with well-crafted pitches delivered to debtors and investors.
But what about small local businesses ... do group presentations work for them? In short, ABSOLUTELY!
Sure, relatively few “Main Street” brick-and-mortar businesses ever figure out that delivering a well-crafted presentation can become an unrivaled growth-machine for their business. But those who do are able to establish a huge advantage over their competition.
At the local level, one great speech can differentiate a doctor, lawyer, dental practice, financial advisor, school operator, restaurant owner, real estate agent, retail shop, chiropractor, etc., etc., from all competitors and peers ... and make them a leading expert and pseudo-celebrity in their market.
For example, take Tom and Nick Kardaza, who have built a hugely profitable real estate brokerage firm in Toronto on the strength of a powerful presentation delivered online, in their offices, and at trade seminars (www.rockstarbrokerage.com).
Or Matt Zagula, who has grown his wealth management practice to over 7-figures (in a painfully tiny market) by hosting “Evening with the Author” events at local bookstores (www.zagulamanagement.com).
Or Dr. Scott Westermeier, who has mastered the use of in-office seminars on "Better Living with Dental Implants" to build a thriving practice near Buffalo, NY (www.wmsmile.com).
Or countless other business owners who have made this strategy work for them by adapting it to“non-traditional” formats like online webcasts, prerecorded webinars, videos, podcasts, tele-seminars, and so on.
Bottom line: smart professionals in virtually every field are leveraging strong group presentations. They are relatively few in number, but they are thriving … and you can too!
If you don't consider yourself to be "good" at public speaking, don't worry ... it's absolutely a learned skill!
"Presentation literacy" is a teachable superpower that anyone (young or old) can benefit from. Contrary to what a lot of people think, you're not born good or bad at certain skills, and you certainly don't lose the ability to master new skills once you reach a certain age.
In fact, thanks to the study of neuroplasticity, scientists have discovered that the brain actually grows and changes throughout life. The intense repetition of a task creates new, stronger neural pathways, and as a person becomes an expert in a particular area – music, sports, public speaking – the areas of the brain associated with those skills actually grow.
Dr. Horvath says, “We all get better at what we do repeatedly” ... and if you speak a lot in public, the areas of the brain associated with this skill will become stronger and more developed.
So, what does this mean? It means everyone has the capacity to be good at communication and presenting.
However, if you consider yourself to be poor at public speaking, it also means that now is the time to take action so you can start the process of getting better through strategic learning, practice and repetition.
If you're afraid of public speaking, don't worry ... you're not alone. Almost everyone has experienced the fear of public speaking.
There are countless examples of famous people who were terrified of public speaking before they found a way to become really good at it, from Richard Branson to Warren Buffet to Joel Osteen to Princess Diana (who was known as “shy Di” and hated giving speeches ... but found a way to speak informally in her own voice before the world fell in love with her).
And this fear is completely logical, because our reputation and credibility can be greatly impacted by how we come across to others when we speak. We are profoundly social animals, and -- for better or worse -- how others think of us matters.
But public communication is too important to your success and happiness to disregard just because it can seem scary. So, like we mentioned in the previous FAQ, it's important take action now and start the process of gaining confidence through strategic learning, practice and repetition.
Also, you may have heard the saying “competence creates confidence”. Unfortunately, trying to mentally manufacture confidence with mind exercises and motivational tricks is nearly impossible. And today, you have the rare opportunity to discover the why that drives group communication, and learn how the world's most successful leaders and entrepreneurs are using it to connect with their audience and grow their business.
It's been said that "what you fear and don’t face, controls you". So, if you're letting a fear of public speaking hold you back, I really urge you to act now by grabbing the replay of "The Neuroscience of Presenting", and committing yourself to developing (and mastering) this important skill!
